A robotics “start-up” for kids in the Cayman Islands

Does your child enjoy competing…but maybe not in athletics and sports? Does your child enjoy honing their video game skills (maybe even excessively…from personal experience)? Maybe your child is home-schooled and would like to interact regularly with other kids?

…Then they might love VexIQ robotics! It combines many skills and disciplines, creativity and imagination. Kids’ robotics competitions offer an opportunity for camaraderie, teamwork and having fun outside of school.

345 Robotics Club – September 2019 to January 2020

The club is being sponsored by TechCayman, in partnership with VexIQ and the US-based Robotics Education and Competition (REC) Foundation.

We’re also eager to find mentors/volunteers of any age who can help kids learn programming and technical skills. Contact us via this form if you think your child might love robotics, or if you’re interested in being a mentor/volunteer, and we’ll get in touch with you.
